Before and After

Landscape Logic was hired to convert this lonely back yard into a fun and functional retreat for a family of 4. One main issue the house had was the sun coming in from the west. We solved the problem by building a loggia (solid roof patio cover) onto the back wall of the house.

From there it was pure entertainment space. We added a built-in bbq island attached to a custom-built fireplace. The materials used on both were carried out from the interior decor of the house. Even the travertine tile was continued out into the backyard with the same diagonal pattern.

The only item salvaged from the existing yard was the in-ground fiberglass spa. It was relocated to the opposite side of the yard and encompassed by two freestanding trellis’.

Needless to say, the family is very happy with their new backyard where they spend a lot of time with family and friends.
